Built-in dark mode switches are all-or-nothing, and they rarely match the themes you actually use across your editor, terminal and browser.

So you end up switching three or four settings by hand, usually later than you meant to, and you miss one of them.

Soluna holds a day set and a night set of your own themes and swaps between them on sunrise and sunset, a fixed schedule, or the ambient light sensor if the machine has one.

Switches are debounced, so a short change in light doesn’t flip the whole desktop back and forth.

Once configured it runs without input. The editor, terminal and system appearance follow the time of day, with nothing left to switch by hand.
